Folsom Lake College's Falcon’s Eye Theatre will be holding auditions for its spring production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing on Monday, January 29, and Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. All skill levels are encouraged to audition.
Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s more popular comedies. A story of romantic love with different journeys to a happy ending. This production will be a madcap and energetic full comedic take on this beloved play. Actors will perform with live music in an outdoor setting that makes Shakespeare come to life for the audience.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to perform the poetry of Shakespeare. Students will get the opportunity to play larger than life characters and take part in finding how to make Shakespeare relevant and fun for audiences. No Shakespeare or acting experience necessary.
Callback auditions will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
