Value and Affordability
Community college is the best value in higher education.
With the cost of college sky-rocketing around the nation and student debt piling up, there has never been a better time to pursue your academic dreams at the Los Rios colleges. California Community Colleges are an affordable way to earn a degree or certificate, or save money before transferring to a four-year university.
The vast majority of our students qualify for free tuition through the Los Rios Promise, which combines local and state money to eliminate financial barriers for students. Many students qualify for additional financial supports – such as federal financial aid, scholarships, or even emergency funds when life throws a curve ball.
