Monologue Audition
Auditioners MUST prepare a contemporary dramatic monologue that is no more than 60 seconds long from a play. No teleplays, screenplays or passages from novels or song lyrics will be accepted. No original writing. The monologue should best portray the actor's strengths. Monologue must be memorized.
Vocal Audition
Prepare 32 bars of your choice that highlights your vocal range. You may select a song from the show. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
Dance Audition
You will participate in a dance audition. No preparation is necessary. Wear loose fitting attire that allows for easy movement. Jazz shoes or tennis shoes are recommended. No bare feet or socks are allowed.
Headshot and Resume
These are requested, though not required. Bring 8x10 headshot and a resume outlining training and performing experience for acting, dancing and singing.
Callbacks
Callbacks are Thursday Janary 29 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Callbacks are by invitation only. Those who are called back will be given readings and music selections from the show. Therefore it is advised to be familiar with the musical Godspell.
