Save the Date: Spring Districtwide Convocation

This Spring’s Convocation will be a Districtwide Convocation at American River College - our first in-person districtwide convening in 6 years! Faculty, classified, and administrative leaders from Los Rios Community College District, our sister colleges, and the district office are working on an exciting program centered around our equity work, featuring a keynote from Sacramento State President Dr. Luke Wood and a panel discussion with Ethnic Studies faculty from the four Los Rios colleges.

This will be an in-person Convocation, with a live streaming option available for those faculty and classified staff whose job duties prevent them from being there.

An invitation (with a link to RSVP and provide lunch choice) will follow later this month. We will be asking that everyone attending RSVP so that we have accurate head counts for seating and catering.

Following the Convocation program, there will be opportunities to hold individual college (or cross-college) department or division meetings, based on the individual department’s needs and schedules. More details will follow in the weeks ahead.
