Prepare Now for the Fall 2026 Bookstore Transition

Los Rios Community College District is partnering with Barnes & Noble College as our new bookstore vendor beginning in Fall 2026.

Students at American River College and Sacramento City College will continue to have physical campus store locations that students can visit in person. However, effective July 1, 2026, we will no longer have on-campus bookstores at Cosumnes River College and Folsom Lake College. Students at CRC and FLC will still have full online access to purchase textbooks, course materials, supplies, and college merchandise, and can also make purchases at the ARC and SCC on-campus stores.

As part of this transition, all Los Rios students will see expanded online options for getting textbooks, course materials, and merchandise through enhanced digital platforms. These improvements are designed to make it easier to compare prices, order materials from anywhere, and access more affordable options.

Our websites will be updated mid-July with links to and additional information about the new online bookstore.

If you choose to use the current online bookstore, be sure to place your order for books and any other items you need well before the start of the fall semester.
