Undocumented Student Month of Action

The Los Rios Community College Undocumented Student Resources are excited to celebrate our second annual Undocumented Student Month of Action during October! We expanded from a week to a full month, offering more opportunities for you to engage, learn, and support our undocumented student community. Join us as we celebrate and advocate for the rights and success of undocumented students.
Throughout the month, you can participate in a variety of events, including workshops, speakers, panels, and community-building activities. These webinars are open to all undocumented students, students from mixed-status families, and undocu-allies, offering valuable information, resources, and support.
In addition to the district-wide events, we will also be hosting campus-specific events throughout the month to further engage our community. These events will provide tailored support, resources, and opportunities for students to connect with one another. Be sure to check out the full list of activities happening on our campus!
The California Community Colleges' Undocumented Student Success Week (USSW) will also take place from Monday, October 13, to Friday, October 17! This year's theme, Together in Purpose, Grounded in Belonging, highlights the importance of creating spaces that celebrate students' identities, support their education and career goals, and strengthen our communities. Join us for an in-person conference on Tuesday, October 14, in Sacramento, where educators will come together to learn and share ways to better support undocumented students.
